A flying horse, a talking otter, an underwater cinema - these are a few of the extraordinary things the twins meet when they enter the world that lies just an eye-blink away from the everyday.
Ashim and Rani live with their mother in a land of steep hills and thick forests. They like to daydream. Sometimes their daydreams take over and they find themselves in a weird land where they have many strange adventures. This can be scarey as well as exciting. But they have each other and when they return home they discover their adventures help them make sense of the everyday lives.
This is a collection of five tales for young readers: The Twins and the Good Night Knight; The Twins and the Green Lady of the Cities; The Twins and Otto the Otter Plotter; The Twins and the Double Trouble Thought Bubbles; The Twins and the Storekeeper of the Storyteller's Store.

Readers' Reviews
A wonderfully sensitive and beguiling story about the relationship between twins and the problems of a split family. Every child with either experience will identify with the delightful interplay between the twins' different characters, and with the way they accept and cope with their father's absence. But it is a story for all children because of the magical ways in which they learn about life, relationships, the importance of understanding that there is always another side. Very highly recommended for children between about six and twelve.
