Welcome to WritersReadersDirect. The idea behind this website is to provide a place where both new and experienced writers can find readers for books no longer taken on by mainstream publishers. Economic conditions and the need to sell large numbers of copies mean that much good work fails to pass the logjam on the desks of literary agents and publishers.
If this is true of your work, then WritersReadersDirect offers you a way through to the readers who will appreciate your writing. After all, writers write to be read.
We invite submissions of completed fiction and non-fiction for a flat fee of £5 per title, whatever its length. If we accept your work, it will be uploaded onto the site as an eBook. Every time it's downloaded, you earn £2 of the £3 download fee, or in the case of single short stories and bundles of micro and flash fiction 75p of the £1 download fee. Previously published but out of print work can also be submitted for consideration.
Readers can write reviews and rate the work with stars. These are automatically uploaded alongside your title. You may request removal.
Writers retain the copyright and can accept offers of publication elsewhere. You can request us to remove your work from the site at any time. WritersReadersDirect has no stake in any deals you may make for print publication and/or film rights. We just hope you will give us credit for any part we've played in your success, should you hit a jackpot!

Once your book is on the site, you can request a review from our panel of professional readers which can later be posted on your title's individual page.
Publicity
Let your friends, family and useful contacts know that your eBook is available on WritersReadersDirect. If you have your own website, you can create links to your title. Do all you can to speed readers your way.
